A Walk in the Woods...

Sorry I haven't posted for over a week, I've just been all over the place really!
To make up for it, here's some lovely photos that I took on a recent dog walk near my house, when the weather was still lovely! I'm lucky to live in such a pretty place, but I never really make use of it. I'm hoping I'll stop being lazy and take the dogs to the woods more often, rather than just walking them around the village.

Stranded in my Bedroom...

Excuse the bunny poop! If you know a lot about rabbits, you'll probably know that not only do they poop alot, but it's also really important for them to live in pairs or groups. Today, I've been holed up in my room with these two cuties, Ted and Wotsit, in the hopes that they will fall in bunny love. Don't worry, they've both been neutered so there won't be any babies!

I just thought I would share these photos, as bunny posts have been popular in the past. So far the bonding is going well, and they seem to like each other! What have you been up to today?

OOTD: Pastels and Florals

Not sure what happened in the necklace photo... I do actually have thumbs, but apparently they disappeared ;) Anyway! The weather has been lovely and sunny here lately (I really hope I haven't just jinxed it) and as per usual I've been addicted to pastels and florals. I went shopping with my Mum yesterday and picked up this baby pink, cropped jumper from Zara... for just £12.99! I'm not crazy about it with jeans/leggings as it's such an odd shape, but I love it tucked into skirts or shorts.

I also bought this skirt for £14.99 from New Look, and I absolutely love it. It's a vintage floral print with lots of bright, summery colours, but there's also mint green, baby pink and powder blue so you get those gorgeous pastel shades as well. I'm in love with it but I'd advise you go a size down... I bought this in an 8 and it's huge, I've cinched it in so much! My necklace was £5.99 from New Look also.

I'm just wearing this with some tan sandals, and I'm good to go! It's probably not quite warm enough for bare legs yet, but I'll live...

Sunday Snippets #10

Starting some exam revision / Washi tape obsessed / Feeling summery / New way of displaying Polaroids / Cocktail night with the girls / Giant teddy in Costco / Finally put film in my Diana Mini / Bought myself some flowers / Entered Wotsit into a competition / Addicted to strawberries / One of our guinea pigs, Elvis / Teddy Bun enjoying the sunshine / Ruby Dog / Boyfriend and I finally booked our Croatian holiday! / New Accessorize backpack - I'm in love / Flowers still going strong / Went on a walk to the woods with the dog / Couldn't decide which camera to take... took both! / Five more photos from our walk... / Fruit salad, yum! / Mini smarties are genius
Another big collage for this week's Sunday Snippets but for once, all the photos are from one week! This week I started revising for my exam (kind of... well not really) and discovered that my washi tape obsession is getting a little out of hand. We've had some lovely sunshine so I've busted out some of my summer clothes, and spent a lot of time outside taking photos.

I'm also trying to eat a little better and be more active, hence the long dog walks and lots of fruit photos. I love vegetables and healthy food but I tend to snack on junk, so this week I've made a conscious effort to make healthier choices. It's going okay I guess, though I've still eaten far too many bags of doritos.

The best thing that happened this week was that I spent the weekend with my boyfriend (as always) and we booked our first holiday together! We're off to Zadar in Croatia at the beginning of July, spending a few days by the beach, and a day or two in a National Park visiting the Plitvice Lakes. We've managed to do it pretty cheaply and I'm so excited.

Been up to anything exciting this week? :)

PS: I entered Wotsit bunny (who you all loved seeing photos of the other week!) into a Facebook competition to win £1000. I doubt we'll win, but I appreciate every vote. You can vote once every 24 hours too :) Please click on the link and vote for her? She's a cutie... http://bit.ly/1evQjhL

The Little Things...

Basically this post is just a result of my obsession with my new camera, but I bought myself some flowers on Friday and they are lovely. I think I'm going to make an effort to have fresh flowers in my room more often, they just really brighten the place up.

In other news, my boyfriend and I booked out first holiday together today! But more on that tomorrow...

Travel Journal | Rome

Sorry this post is so photo heavy, I just really wanted to show off the Rome portion of my travel journal! This isn't all the pages (believe it or not) just a few of my favourites.

I love the La De Dah journalling albums for projects like this, I've purchased pretty much the whole range. My next project is to start my Bucket List album!

The last few weeks have been totally hectic! I moved out of my university house finally, spent the weekend with my boyfriend, and tried to begin emptying all the old rubbish from my bedroom.

This past week I finally purchased the Canon 1100D camera and I'm totally in love with it. It's perfect for someone who is completely new to DSLRs, and takes lovely photos. I'm trying not to just leave it on auto, but I think it'll take lots of practice before I'm used to all the manual settings! As you can see, I did a little photo shoot with some of the pets and I love the results.

I've done far too much shopping this week... other than my camera, I've bought scrapbooking supplies, clothes, shoes, a new bag and books for my dissertation. I'm now on a spending ban until my boyfriend and I book our holiday! I had a mini panic as I realised that I don't have a job for this summer (no way am I going back to my previous job) so I really need to find something by May! I've been applying for nannying jobs all this week and putting my CV on lots of websites. If all else fails, I'll hopefully be able to get a reception or admin job somewhere, or there's always the dreaded work in retail...

Other than that, I've been working on my travel journal, celebrating a couple of birthdays and I spent another lovely weekend with my boyfriend. We saw Divergent on Friday night and went for a Nandos on Saturday... perfect ;)

Birthday Bunny!

My beautiful little Wotsit Bunny turned 1 whole year old today! I love her to bits, she is the sassiest, cheekiest, funniest little ginger that I know.

Happy Birthday baby bun.

A Peek at my Bedroom...

If you're wondering where yesterday's Sunday Snippets was, never fear! It'll be back next week, with two week's worth of photos.

I've moved home from university permanently now, and as I'll be redoing my room over the next few months, I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek into what it currently looks like. A lot of this stuff will stay the same, I'm just giving everything a lick of paint and getting new furniture.

As you can see, everything is very girly and Cath Kidston inspired... just what a girl wants! ;)
