Like For Ever Scrapbook Kit | Sept. 2015

Are you drooling yet? I am!

I'm super excited to share the September Like For Ever kit with you today; Acorn Avenue. It's made up of beautiful items from Pink Paislee's 'Cedar Lane' collection, and I'm absolutely smitten! Autumn is one of my favourite times of year, but I never normally scrapbook anything specifically Autumn-y... I'm determined to change that this year and make the most of all the gorgeous Fall motifs in this kit.

Here is the kit contents:
  • Twelve 12x12" double sided patterned papers from the 'Cedar Lane' collection
  • Two 12x12" sheets of cardstock: Bubbles and Blackberry Swirl
  • One pack of Fitzgerald Glitter Thickers: Teal
  • One pack of Ephemera
  • One pack of Word Jumble Stickers
  • One pack of 3D Arrow Embellishments
  • One exclusive, custom mixed pack of Pretty Pink Posh Sequins
  • One vellum bag of wooden butterfly buttons.
On top of that, I also purchased those fab tags, puffy stickers and the glitter Thicker words... Be still my beating heart.

If you're more of a YouTube person, I also have a video unboxing:

I can't wait to share everything I make with this kit, better get stuck in!

Kill a Kit and Layout Share! | August Like For Ever Kit

As promised, I'm back today with my layout share for August's Like For Ever kit. The kit was made up of the Wonder collection by Crate Paper and it was absolutely beautiful! This first layout is super simple; layers of paper and doilies, a patterned paper background and a few choice embellishments. How beautiful are the Trinket thickers?!

This layout is an explosion of everything, haha. I decided to use up all my branding strips, and I love the look of sewing them to the page. Again I layered up paper and vellum behind the photo, and used a selection of stickers and ephemera from the Wonder collection.

I just love this layout. My 21st birthday was on the 31st of August and unfortunately it was actually pretty bad... but you wouldn't know it from this page! The fussy-cut houses were a scraplifted idea (though I can't remember where I first saw it), and I also used a few stickers from the Crate Paper Confetti line.

Another simple layout from my birthday, along the same lines as the previous one.

Aaaaaaaah this wood veneer house! Isn't it fabulous?! I wanted to document the beginnings of our new kitchen, and thought the house was the perfect way to do so. I backed the veneer with various patterned papers from the kit, and then just went crazy with the embellishments and add-ons. It's one of the busiest, most random layouts I've ever created... but I love it!

Lastly, we have one of my favourites. I love this grid design and all the sewing; I simply cut 4x4 scraps of paper and began layering on top with other scraps and vellum. I kept the embellishments quite simple; how adorable is that house paperclip?!

So there we have it, the majority of the layouts I made with August's kit! Here is my corresponding video:

Hope you enjoyed, have a wonderful day!

Scrapbooking Sneak Peeks...

Hello everyone!

Long time no speak, as usual. I always favour my youtube channel over my blog during busy periods, but I'm determined to pick Chloé's Thoughts back up over the next few months. I really want to share my scrapbooking creations and get more involved in the blogging community; I'm so inspired by other bloggers and I'm determined to get into a better routine with my own posting.

SO, with that being said, I'm posting a few scrapbook layouts today as a little sneak peek of an upcoming post (and video): my Kill a Kit and Layout Share for August's Like For Ever kit. The kit was made up of the Wonder collection by Crate Paper and oh my goodness, I'm in love. I say it every month, but I think this kit was one of the best yet. It was a bumper kit, full of goodies and despite having made a stack of layouts, I still have tonnes left. It was perfect for me, as my boyfriend and I are currently renovating our first home together and houses are a recurring motif in this collection.

I hope you've enjoyed these little sneak peeks, my full blog post and corresponding video will hopefully be up tomorrow... if natural light cooperates with me and I can film! For now, I'll leave you with my Kill a Kit videos from previous months. All the details for Like For Ever are in the description of each video; it's well worth having a look at! (And maybe even subscribing to, hint hint)

Have a wonderful day guys, speak soon.
